While the whole world is celebrating the Autism Awareness Day on April 2, SHEIN, the popular leader in fashion online shopping, announced the launching of the SHEIN x Autism Heroes collection in the region besides donating 50% of proceeds of sales to the Charitable Society of Autism Families.
The collection included artworks made by children with autism who are supported by the Charitable Society of Autism Families, in order to express themselves and develop their skills.
The children names list included the Emirati artist Abdullah Lutfi as well as Abdullah Al Ammari, Karim Mousa, Abdulaziz Muflih Al Fuadil, Bader Muflih Al Fuadil.
Simultaneously, the fashion brand started (IwearBlue) contest to invite the community to support those children on social media platforms.
Social media users are supposed to post photos of their favorite clothes in blue, a color related to supporting autism awareness, with the hashtag #IWearBlue.
These sympathetic actions are part of the “Powered by Love” social program launched by SHEIN to empower children with autism spectrum disorder across Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The brand encourages spreading love on social media throughout World Autism Month by positively commenting on its social posts to support children with autism spectrum disorder and boost their self-confidence.
The winners with the best comments will receive a SHEIN gift card as well as a thank you email from the participating artists.
The most prominent of these messages will be revealed during a community event hosted by the Charitable Society of Autism Families in KSA.
It will include a special visit from the Powered by Love Ambassador Jood Aziz, in addition to a host of exciting games and interactive activities.
