In contribution of diversifying the base of the national economy and under the slogan “Your Gateway to Tourism”, the first edition of Saudi Tourism Forum (STF), the largest event in the national tourism sector, was held from 14 to 16 March at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Riyadh city.
The forum aimed at encouraging tourism sector, as an important pillar of Vision 2030, through strengthening relations between main partners in the “travel and tourism” sectors.
Over 350 tourism stakeholders participated in the event to exchange information and discuss domestic tourism challenges versus opportunities, in addition to reviewing their current services and products.
Promoting Saudi destinations, programs, packages, were also basic goals of the forum.
It’s worth mentioning that the “Events Calendar” was previously launched by The Saudi Tourism Authority to make it easy to tourists to plan their trips.
The Events Calendar includes all events and seasons in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; it’s constantly updated.Tourism is considered one of the most promising sectors in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 as it provides numerous opportunities for qualitative jobs, investments and economic growth.
