Ramadaniyat Exhibition Highlights Islamic Plastic Art in KSA

The annual art exhibition “Ramadaniyat” in its 14th edition opened its doors at the Jeddah Art Atelier on April 3 and is going to last till the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The exhibition is displaying over 150 Ramadan-inspired artworks including pieces of Arabic calligraphy, some Quran verses created by famous Arab and Egyptian artists.

The most remarkable work is created by the great artist Abdul Halim Radvi, the pioneer of the Saudi plastic movement, as well as four works by the late great artist Fahd Al-Hujailan.

Hisham Kandil, Director of Jeddah Art Atelier, stated that the event includes cultural evening hosting many artists and critics.
