Random Eating Habits Endanger Your Health in Ramadan

While the holy month of Ramadan looms and Muslims around the world prepare themselves to fast for 30 successive days, nutrition experts ensure that random eating habits negatively affect our bodies during fasting days.
Here are some important advises to enjoy good health and avoid feeling exhausted and lazy.
Sohour Meal is a Must
Especially for old people and pregnant women, this pre-fasting meal is more than important to provide your body with all nutrients and power needed to endure the following day.
Your Sohour meal should contains food elements rich in complex carbohydrates and protein like fruits, vegetables, grains as well as dairy products.
Hydrate your Body
After long hours of fasting, our bodies become in need of a large amount of water for the sake of hydration and digesting food.
It’s preferable to gradually drink one and a half liters of water throughout the day, besides eating food rich in water like watermelon and green salad.
Fresh Juices
Drinking fresh juices like tamarind, licorice, carod, amar al-dīn, is more than good as they are rich in vitamins, minerals quench thirst throughout the day.
Rich Iftar Meals
Iftar meals should contain whole nutritional elements like large amount of vegetables, healthy fibers and low fat meat.
Avoid Fried Fast Food
As much as possible, try to avoid eating fast food as it is full of fats, sugar, salt that overburden your body and cause tiredness.
Dates Instead of Sweets
Instead of eating tons of sugar existing in sweets, you can just take few amount of healthy dates which is rich in natural sugar that regulate blood sugar level and reduce heart diseases risk.
